In Memoriam Peacefully at the Henderson Hospital, Hamilton on Thursday, July 10, 2008, in her 69th year, Sandy Metcalfe, beloved wife of the late J. David Metcalfe. Loving mother of John of Hamilton, Molly and partner Candis Wilson of Kamloops, B.C., Matt and his wife Danielle of Hamilton. Much loved nana of Mark and Michael. Sandy was a member of the Brantford Lapidary and Mineral Society, The Spiritual Assembly of Brantford and the Hamilton Theatre Inc. Family and Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Onondaga on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. If wished, memorial donations to the Girl Guides of Canada gratefully appreciated. ![]() In Memoriam Stewart Mason We're sorry to report the recent passing of a long-time HTI member, Stewart Mason, who was a member for 39 years, and died on Saturday, June 7th. Stewart was last seen onstage in our 2006 production of MY FAIR LADY. His first show was the 1969 production of SWEET CHARITY, and he performed in many shows since, including our 2005 production of ONCE UPON A MATTRESS for which he won the Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of King Sextimus. Stewart also worked backstage in most areas of the company, including producing, directing, and being on the Board of Directors. He was an INKY member, and continued to work in various capacities for the company until his health declined during this last year. A gathering to celebrate Stewart's life was be held at the HTI Studio on Sunday, July 6 from 1-4.
![]() In Memoriam PAT DAWSON After a lengthy, courageous battle with a brain tumour, Pat took her final bow on Saturday, January 13, 2007. Pat starred in many HTI shows, and directed three: "Annie" (1984), "Meet Me In St. Louis" (1994) and "Bye Bye Birdie" (2000). Marilyn was a founding memeber of HTI and performed in dozens of our shows, from our first show, South Pacific, in 1956 to our 50th Anniversary show, My Fair Lady, in 2006.
