OLIVER!
OLIVER! is the award winning musical adaptation of Charles Dickens's classic tale of an orphan who runs away from the orphanage and hooks up with a group of boys trained to be pickpockets by an elderly mentor. Great songs and heart warming moments make this one of the most endearing musicals of all times.

The musical OLIVER! played at the Macdonald Theatre at Bay Street North at York. The following were the performance dates:

April 26, 27, May 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11.


Production Information

The producer of OLIVER! was Tom Levely and it was directed by David Mallis and choreographed by Sharon Reynolds.
Auditions for OLIVER! were held of the weekend of February 23-25. The cast was: John Bond (Fagin), Christopher Walsh (Oliver), Marta Simon (Nancy), Jan Chithalen (Bill Sikes -note: for years it said Sykes, but somebody named Sykes took the time to write that that was incorrect), Ron Scott (the Artful Dodger), Richard Crossman (Mr. Bumble), Anna Maria Morris (Widow Corney), Peter Mackie (Mr. Sowerberry), Murline Mallette (Mrs. Sowerberry), Nara Farrell (Charlotte), Chad Roglich (Noah Claypore), Adam Stevenson (Charley Bates), Daphne Moens (Bet), Joyce Mattick (Mrs. Bedwin), Edvarard Hambro (Mr. Brownlow), and David Trew (Dr. Grimwig). Other cast includes John Hunter, Justine leroux, Brian Miranda, Cameron Moncor, Alan Oldham, Aubrey Oldham, David Russell, Andrew Staios, C.J. Thompson, Lachlan Watson, Michael Belton, Bavid Brownhill, Pam Brownhill, Joe Couture, Lisa Diliberto, Jeannette Franklin, Jack Gibb, Walter Mykythyshyn, Emma Oldham, Barbara-Lynn Redpath, Sandra Small, Tara Smith, John Spencer and Sean Trainor.
